St Francis Bay and Cape St Francis offer much as favourite holiday destinations and tourist attractions. Surfing, windsurfing, kitesurfing, kayaking, mountain biking, horse riding, sandboarding, hiking trails, fishing, and bird watching with more than 200 bird species found in the nearby Seekoei River nature reserve.

The Kromme River offers riverfront properties, water sports, and a favourite fishing spot for anglers. The port is a working harbour known for chokka, squid, and calamari fishing. Our village further boasts 2 beautiful 18 hole golf courses. The town golf course with stunning ocean views and is ideal for a scenic walk and play course. The famous Links golf course, rated one of the top 10 golf courses in the country, is challenging, but the views and scenery are unsurpassed.

Cape St Francis, locally known as 'Seals', Seal Point and Shark Point with the Seal Point Lighthouse, is home to 5 nature reserves offering well-maintained walking trails and dedicated cycling routes through the natural coastlands with indigenous fynbos and abundant wildlife. The vegetation is part of the Cape floral kingdom (one of six kingdoms in the world)
