Jeffreys Bay, known as one of the best surfing beaches in South Africa, is a quiet sleepy fishing village with soft white sandy beaches and waves to envy. A favourite holiday destination, J-Bay as it's called by the locals gained its reputation as being one of the most famous surfing destinations in the world.
Location
Jeffrey's Bay is the gateway to the Garden Route. An hour from Gqeberha and the International Airport.
Schools
St Francis College is the local school, it is a unique 'farm school' with chickens and other farm animals roaming freely. There is a daily bus service to other schools nearby, including Stulting Primary, Woodridge Private School and Nico Malan, a dual medium High School offering boarding facilities for out-of-town scholars in Humansdorp. The Jeffrey's Bay Village offers excellent professional medical care and a Life Health Hospital in Humansdorp, a quick 20-minute drive away. Policlinic Jeffreys Bay and PZ Meyer Hospital are other hospitals in the area.
