This semi furnished short term rental consists of two bedrooms and a loft area that has been made into a extra bedroom each room has built in cupboards and there is a separate bathroom with a bath and shower. Decks leading from two of the bedrooms allow you to enjoy the fantastic scenery. Downstairs an open plan lounge, dining area and kitchen awaits along with a extra loo and shower. An enclosed courtyard provides privacy where one can sit and have a braai whilst listening to the waves crash down. The Kowie Beach Cabanas is a complex consisting of only 20 beach front units. This complex has electric gate access to the back and has underroof carports for all cars. The rental excludes alarm monitoring and this will need to be arranged by the tenant. Water and electricity usage will be billed separately. The unit will need to be vacated in the months on December and January.

History
In the early 1820's Port Frances and Port Kowie were founded. In 1841 South Africa's first man made harbour was opened here. After numerous name changes, in 1860, Port Alfred was renamed in honour of Prince Alfred, Queen Victoria's son.
