Castle Alice Detox Lodge, is a globally unique 26,5h estate within the gated Rhenosterspruit Conservancy on the Jukskei River. It is reached via 4 km of sand road off the R512 north west of Lanseria international airport (10 mins distance). It features a boutique hotel with spa and detox facilities. All buildings are located above the 50 year flood- line and the location is the choicest on the Vlakfontein / Riverside Estates region having some 700 metres of river frontage. Building began on this site in to mid '70s and the progressive adding of villas continued until the late 1980s. The estate was acquired by the current owners in 2001 whereupon a 10 year rebuild and refurbishment plan began. Total accommodation is for 22 persons (in double suites).
