The Blue Circle Diaries - a twice-monthly Q&A featuring valuable insights into the strategies, processes, and philosophies of our agency elite! Get that diary out and take some notes!

Here is the first of our Blue Circle subjects, Sandra Hattingh from Harcourts Oyster - our No.6 agent in the country!

Why did you decide to join Harcourts?

Harcourts stood out amongst the other agencies in our beautiful Jeffreys Bay where I had been working for over a period of 11 years at the time. Today, after spending the last six years with Harcourts, I found my niche and know that I made the right decision to join this Internationally known and branded Property Specialist.

What is your favourite thing about being a Harcourts team member?

Harcourts is absolutely a cut above the rest, and I am so proud to be a team member. They are like family, they care, you are acknowledged, rewarded, and loved.

What do you enjoy most about being in real estate?

Interacting with people and to experience the joy and happiness when their dreams are realized, either buying or selling.

What advice would you offer to people new to the industry?

Listen!

What is your most memorable career moment to date?

17th May 2022 - Conference Awards! Also, my Azure Pin award a couple of years ago, was a great moment.

What activities have led to your success?

Constant physical hard work, sourcing listings, not looking at the clock but at the outcome, resilience, always remaining professional, always going the extra mile.

What is your secret to maintaining a strong relationship with clients?

Constantly communicating with your client base, listening, observing, and sharing empathy and sympathy. Stay connected, be in touch with your community at all levels. Remain true to yourself.
