Location

Climate
With highs of 23 degrees and lows of 11 degrees, you will enjoy warm weather throughout the year. There is consistent rainfall all year round nurturing the luscious flora.
Schools
St Francis College is the local school, it is a unique 'farm school' with chickens and other farm animals roaming free. There is also a daily bus service to other schools nearby, including Stulting Primary and Nico Malan a dual medium High School offering residence facilities for out-of-town scholars in Humansdorp and Woodridge Private School.
Medical facilities
Our Village offers excellent medical care and a Life Health Hospital in Humansdorp only 20-minutes away.
Activities
There is an abundance of leisure activities in St Francis Bay. Active clubs and social groups exist for activities such as surfing, mountain biking, open water swimming, fishing, squash, kiteboarding, paddling and 2 golf courses, the older St Francis Bay course and the modern St Francis Links Golf Course, rated the 4th best golf course in the Country or enjoy a stunning walk to Shark Point. Adventurous residents of St Francis Bay can navigate the magnificent Baviaanskloof 4x4 trail.
The Wild Side is also lovely, with excellent hiking or running trails. FOSTER (The Friends of the St Francis Nature Areas) was established by volunteers 30 years ago and looks after our incredible tracts of nature, maintaining them and ensuring that the trails are kept in pristine condition.
Life on the Kromme River offers all day adventures with cruises, water-skiing, kids tubing, wakeboarding, bird watching and parties for all occasions.
