The Blue Circle Diaries - Justin Nebrigic

Category Workplace News

The Blue Circle Diaries - a twice-monthly Q&A featuring valuable insights into the strategies, processes, and philosophies of our agency elite! Get that diary out and take some notes!

Here's another one of our Blue Circle subjects, Justin Nebrigic from Harcourts Blue - No.10 in the country!

Why did you decide to join Harcourts?

Real estate was never my go-to option. I was retrenched from the culinary industry and battled to find a similar position in my trade. I was intrigued by how successful a family member of mine was doing with Harcourts and he provided me the opportunity to meet with Harcourts Blue. In my mind, this was just a stepping stone until I found a job in the culinary industry. Almost 4 years later I am still here - happier than ever, achieving goals I never dreamed would be possible!

What is your favourite thing about being a Harcourts team member?

The recognition and support we receive as a group and as an individual are outstanding and motivating. Harcourts as a brand is always pushing us to our next best level.

What advice would you offer to people new to the industry?

Real estate is not a part time job, the amount of work you put in is what you get out. Stay consistent, even when times get tough.

What is your most memorable career moment to date?

Setting the goal and achieving Blue Circle status within my three years of real estate.

What activities have led to your success?

  • Being fearless and taking the risk to speak to any potential client no matter how daunting - this led to me building a strong relationship and partnership with a successful developer.

  • Outstanding leadership and training from my business owners.

  • Daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly goal setting - doing something small every day, pushing myself towards my end goal.

What is your secret to maintaining a strong relationship with clients?

Keeping continuous communication with my clients, even small gestures via birthday wishes, house anniversaries etc...
