PROFESSIONAL ACHIEVEMENTS
Apart from being a Property Practitioner since 2014, which is my current occupation, I am a qualified Town and Regional Planner since 1979, Environmental Planner, Environmental Impact Assessor, Project Manager, and Sociologist (1990). I love life, the natural world we live in and I care about people. I find the meaning of land and property ownership for different communities important.
I was a Director of Metroplan Incorporated (Pty) Ltd, (Pietermaritzburg), which was a small, busy and effective Private Town Planning, Environmental and Property Project Development Company which was fully BEE compliant. I was party to the development of Midlands Mall which was one of my special projects.
I was also Director and Principal of “New Ground Properties”, (PTY) Ltd, Real Estate Company to assist clients that the company worked with, as a package with their property needs. These professional achievements have provided me with an excellent background and a wealth of imbedded knowledge related to property in the South African Real Estate context.

EXPERIENCE AND CREDENTIALS
In 2014 I joined Harcourts Parklane. Over this time together with Lynda, my wife who has been a Property practitioner, working in the industry since 1990, we have worked as a team, specializing in residential sales. My interests lie in literature, playing music, wildlife/nature, motorcycling, walking, camping, family, art, photography, filming, scuba-diving and living life with love, fellowship, family and friends.
I am committed to Real Estate and I importantly keep up to date with the latest Real Estate property trends, technology, Town and Regional Planning Law, Environmental Law, Human Rights, Ethics and morality in relevant changing property legislation. The Services that I offer are not only Valuing, Listing and Selling Property but also knowledge and understanding of the bigger planning picture nuances and where to affordably live, work and play which is important. I have the ability to work under pressure as a knowledgeable Property Specialist, with a wide skill-set for clients on property matters to follow the career that has really been my passion.

CAREER GOALS
To me the Real Estate business is something I love to do every day and I feel privileged to be of service to the Industry and my clients – to be able to satisfy clients in assisting them to find the home or property that meets their and their family’s personal needs and affordability in the appropriate socio-economic neighbourhood.
