In the residential sales side I have managed to secure and service exclusive marketing rights from top East London Developers and have consistently received regional awards from the Franchisors recognising the branch performance in both rentals and sales. I build relationships with my clients by providing professional, ethical and concise advice and feedback. Principal Owner

I went to school in Queenstown and Aliwal North, worked at the Standard Bank in Claremont, Cape Town for several years as a Client Liaison Officer and then as a Customer Consultant, while studying for my Diploma in Human Resources Management. I married Guy Niemand, a civil engineering technician and we were fortunate to be able to work in many different areas for a couple of years - moving to be near to consulting and mentoring contracts that he was involved in. We have two children, Jason and Kyla, were lucky enough to have the opportunity to work in the former Transkei from 2003, where we became business partners by founding The Mthatha Property Shoppe, which became Harcourts Mthatha in March 2012 and that branch is still the only technologically capable Real Estate Company in the Former Transkei. Kim Thomson heads up Harcourts Mthatha and her team of young, energetic Real Estate Professionals service the market there with flair and enthusiasm. We have now managed to balance the tricky live-work-play-children scenario by pooling our resources and joining the Harcourts East London group as Harcourts Advantage. Phil Rawstron left a 25 year odd Real Estate Legacy here, before relocating with Rose to Port Elizabeth. While we would not try to fill shoes, we are privileged to be able to serve the East London Market with all of their Real Estate needs. Team Advantage is made up of a group of energetic, motivated new Real Estate Professionals who know the value of opportunity and the meaning of service excellence. It is easy being part of a group where the dynamic is accepted and it is recognized that excellence is our minimum standard. The Harcourts Values are: People First Doing the Right Thing Being Courageous Fun and Laughter I love working with people, agents, buyers, sellers, landlords and tenants and get a huge amount of satisfaction from the use of business systems and tools, the latest technology and the one on one interaction with people from all walks of life and different markets. I have never specialized in a specific market and am motivated and inspired by listening to people, their dreams and aspirations and assisting them to make things happen. Having loads of energy and insight into what the new markets need helps to make every day count. If there was one thing I would change in a flash: it would the length of a day vs the amount of time that we need to sleep. Daylight hours would be doubled and sleep time would be halved. I acknowledge my responsibility to be the change I want to see in the world and spend at least a couple of minutes everyday making sure that I am accountable to this end. Harcourts has a Recipe for Real Estate Success - going forward and into the future and I love the prospect of being part of the process. I am a member of IEASA and sit on the board of directors for the border region as the liaison member with the Rental Tribunal and am in charge of education for 2016. This gives me the opportunity to be part of the decision making process for the future of our Industry. Working with committed and motivated committee members also gives me insight and hope for the future of our profession in this country and the world at large as we explore international markets and have access to the data and information that is so easily communicated across continents.

    Andrew Rielly

    Sales Consultant

I was born, raised and educated in the “Adventure Province” of the Eastern Cape and have lived in East London since 2008. I have been the Owner/Operator/Manager of various businesses since 1995, ranging from retail/wholesale, hospitality and bookkeeping. I am the lucky husband to a beautiful wife and called dad by 4 wonderful children. I am proud to call our city, East London, home and am passionate about the opportunities offered here. With over 25 years of experience and expertise gained from a very successful business career, at the helm of multi-million rand corporations, I have learned that anything is possible and that sheer grit and determination make a winning formula. My retail stores were often awarded "Retailer of the Year" awards in recognition of the excellent customer service that we provided. I have and still serve as the Chairman and Treasurer of School Governing Body and have earned the trust from the community and school parents over the past few years. Hobbies and other interests include running and cycling and I've completed a number of events. In 2015 I did the Wild Coast Challenge, a 3 day stage race from Mazeppa Bay on the Wild Coast to Nahoon Beach in East London. I also did the Two Oceans and Comrades Ultra Marathons. I have earned a lot of respect from my fellow athletes for my "never give up attitude and determination". It is my goal to transform the property transaction process into an enjoyable and lasting experience and I aim to do this by being true to myself and in turn, true to my clients. I have become a sought-after agent in East London and have built up a database of over 350 buyers. All properties sold by me so far have been sold within the mandate period and for no less than 93% of the listing price. Communication by giving and receiving feedback, is an integral part of selling your home and achieving your desired result and by doing this I have built strong relationships with my clients by instilling a sense of trust and for taking care of their property needs first. I will endeavor to change the face of Realtors in the industry by my actions and through honesty and integrity. Throw our company’s values, ethics and resources into a giant pot, add me as that all important ingredient and you have a winning recipe that will leave you with a good taste, when it comes to your Real Estate needs. Try me, test me, trust me…You won’t be sorry you used “Team Rielly Advantage” • people first • doing the right thing • being courageous • fun and laughter

    Des Wild

    Sales Consultant

A born and bred East Londoner and Old Selbornian, Des Wild has been in the Real Estate Industry, selling property and assisting buyers to find their dream properties for the past 14 years. Before that he worked on the Management team for the Foschini group as their regional manager, managing the credit departments between East London and Durban. He has been part of our team since 2011 and sees a really bright future in the East London Market going forward. Des prides himself on the high value he places on doing the right thing in business and honouring the Lord in every single transaction. He is confident, trustworthy and enjoys working with people. Des has enjoyed being in the limelight when he ranked in the Top 20 agents in South Africa while he was working at ERA Sun a couple of years ago. The best part of his daily grind is building lasting, trusting relationships with his sellers by giving them straightforward, open and realistic feedback on their properties. The seller’s needs as well as the latest market conditions are carefully considered in each transaction and the advice given is based on many years of experience in this market. The biggest compliment that you could give Des is to entrust the marketing of your property to him. Working with buyers is rewarding and Des gets great pleasure from assisting and educating first time buyers and advising speculators and investors alike – mindfully assessing their needs and drawing on his knowledge to help them make wise decisions for their property-owning futures. Buyers who work with Des learn to trust his approach and buyers have become his sellers in the years that followed.

I was born and raised in East London in the Eastern Cape and matriculated at Cambridge High School. I moved to Pretoria and completed my National Certificate in Business Administration at the Pretoria Technikon. The travel bug bit in 2000 and I moved to the United Kingdom where I worked for a company specialising in property development and renovation from 2000 to 2004, before moving back to South Africa at the end of that year. For the last 11 years I was part of the team that has successfully restored and developed the popular Thomas River Village, turning it into a popular destination for tourists and sought after venue for private parties, national and international weddings and conferences. My love for service started in the hospitality industry and has moved seamlessly into my scrapbook, retail and online business. Service is very important to me and I strive to make sure I only deliver the best. God has blessed me with three amazing, intelligent, courageous, beautiful daughters and the best husband anybody could ask for. Together Andrew and I are raising Jazmyn, Lilly-Ann and Alex-Rose to be the best people they can be. My move into selling real estate within the confines of East London has been challenging and very rewarding. Realising that selling real estate is all about service and managing expectations for both the seller and purchaser has given me the confidence and opportunity to excel. I firmly believe in the Harcourts Values of People First, Doing the Right Thing, Being Courageous & Fun and Laughter. Through honesty, integrity and my passion for people I will always serve to the best of my ability.

I grew up in East London and moved to Johannesburg after completing my studies in interior decorating in 1995, and worked as a decorator for 3 years after which I opened my own painting techniques business. After getting married in 2000, my husband and I started a painting and small renovations business and within a couple of years started cutting polystyrene cornices for sale and installation in Northern Gauteng. I moved back to my hometown here in East London in 2015 and decided to make property my new venture. I love all creative things and especially beading and sewing, enjoy working with oil paint and have a special interest in herbs and making natural beauty products. My 12 years in the painting and renovations industry has given me an eye for detail in the residential area. Having worked with owners, service providers and retail, has given me the skills needed to manage the marketing and successful sale of your property.

I have been in the property business for 12 years – all of them in Cintsa East. I worked for Crawfords Estates for 9 years and then bought the business in 2009. I sold the company in 2011 but decided, after a 2 year break, that I missed meeting and dealing with people that became more like friends and family than customers. Before moving to Cintsa in 2000, I lived in Johannesburg for 23 years. While living in Johannesburg I worked in marketing in the liquor trade. I began with Hiram Walker, an international brand company and then moved to Douglas Green Bellingham for 6 years. It was a very exciting time of my life with lots of travel and fun. I was born in Port Elizabeth where I later got married and had my daughter Karen. I am very fortunate to have my daughter and grand-daughter Erin, who is almost 5, living in Cintsa. I have great granny moments with them. I love animals, and have 6 rescue dogs and 4 ‘bush’ cats also living with me. I love living in Cintsa and don’t believe there are any communities elsewhere that have the closeness of community and support that we have here.

I was born and raised in Mthatha in the Eastern Cape and moved down to East London in 2004, where my husband and I have chosen to raise our family and I am proud to have two children that we have the privilege of bringing up. I love working with people and value honesty and integrity. I have a strong work ethic and am a firm believer that hard work pays off, I value the relationships that I build with clients and friends and am very serious about being successful at everything I set my mind to. I have been working for 10 years and for the last 4 I worked for an amazing organization building homes for women living in shacks. It has been the most gratifying experience of giving hope and dignity to women living under very difficult circumstances, who on their own wouldn’t have been able to provide a decent home for their families, so I am not completely new in the property world! I have worked with estate agents, government departments, conveyancing attorneys and other property professionals and support services in sourcing land, buying dilapidated properties (that we renovated). I managed the subdivision process, removal of restrictions on title deeds and other complicated real estate transfers. I have learned that with patience, persistence and tenacity we can overcome most barriers in life. I have always had an interest in the property industry and my previous job has reinforced that passion. As a Rental Consultant at Harcourts Advantage, my goal is to build trust & relationships with the people I serve. I will do exactly what I said I will, when I said I would and if I am unable to deliver this, it will be communicated. My promise to you is guaranteed feedback and exceptional service; this together with my B Tech in Marketing will get you the results, whether you are the landlord or the tenant.

My family keep me energised and motivated, spending time with them and making memories is what I treasure most. I have worked in the rental industry since 2008 and moved to East London in 2011. Whether you need help to find a tenant or you need a property to rent, I will be able to assist you. I have a strong work ethic and believe that honesty is the best policy, even if it is not what my clients want to hear at the time, landlords will receive constructive feedback and advice, excellent marketing and screening processes, while the tenants will have every aspect of the leasing procedure explained to them. I am proud to be part of a team that put people first. My love for property and what I do makes everything worth while. My strengths lie in co-ordinating and organising. I am confident that when I place tenants in properties they have met all the qualifying criteria and will be the best applicants for the property – not just the first. My years of experience and knowledge of this industry ensure that I am able to give an above average level of service and using the advanced technology that we have at Harcourts, I am able to interpret market movements and demands confidently. I share the dream of my team to become the # 1 agency in the region and am looking forward to our future growth and development.
